Medium Density Fiberboard

Medium Density Fiberboard (MDF) is an engineered wood product made from wood fibers, wax, and resin, pressed together under high temperature and pressure. It is commonly used in furniture, cabinetry, and interior design because of its smooth surface and ease of painting or veneering. MDF is more affordable than solid wood and has a consistent strength, but it is not as water-resistant and should be used in dry environments.
